Local CVS pharmacist, Dr. Alana Powell visited fifth grade students at Stonewall Tell Elementary to share information on health issues as part of the health curriculum.
Dr. Powell spoke to the students about over-the-counter and prescription drugs. She explained the difference and helped students understand that medicines are drugs that cause helpful changes in the body when used correctly. Dr. Powell also interpreted information for the students and explained how medicines should be used medicines correctly.
