The Barnwell Elementary School chorus recently performed at the Johns Creek City Hall to help commemorate the city’s Founder’s Day Celebration.
The chorus, under the direction of music teachers Kelly Kim and Vanessa Edwards, preformed a variety of winter musical selections. Songs included “There is No School Tomorrow If It Snows” and “So Long, Farewell” from the Sound of Music. The chorus sang to a full council room which included members of the city council and mayor Mike Bodker, who is pictured with the students. The chorus members were very excited and honored by their selection.
